How to read the result
The result is not a calculation or a guarantee of suitability. It helps you choose the next point: an article, a valid category table, a CNC route or a request for manual selection.
If the conditions are insufficient or the task is critical, the wizard will directly stop the automatic recommendation and list the data that needs to be clarified.
What is the logic based on

For a beginner, a description of the task and a sketch with basic dimensions is enough. Unknown parameters can be noted directly: the specialist will clarify them before offering the position.
Frequently asked questions
Will the guided selector specify an exact grade and thickness?
No. An exact grade or thickness cannot be selected reliably without the load case, geometry, joints and documentation for the specific material.
Can I use the guided selector without a drawing?
Yes. You will receive preliminary guidance and a list of missing information. A drawing or dimensioned sketch will normally be needed later for engineering review or production.
Why doesn't price determine one material?
Compare the total cost of the finished result, including supply format, material consumption, process, machining, batch size and possible scrap. Current terms are confirmed in the selection table or quotation.
Why does a warning appear during an RF application?
Carbon reinforcement is electrically conductive and can affect electrical and RF functions. You need to check the entire laminate and the specific frequency scenario.
Why is there no automatic answer for a protective application?
The protective property is confirmed for the specific system tested. The generic name of the fabric is not sufficient to claim protection.
Are responses saved?
No. Replies are processed only on the current page and are not automatically sent.
Where do commercial links lead?
They lead to current category pages with request tables, production routes or the single quotation form. The Technical Center does not create separate product-detail pages.
